Patrick Massabo

Patrick Massabo has been passionate about images since his earliest childhood. It was through drawing and painting that he learned to play with light. At the age of 18, he discovered photography and his camera has never left his side since. He has tried his hand at all the fields that this medium offers, portraits, landscapes, street, studio, performances…

He began to take an interest in the world of dance a little over 10 years ago, becoming passionate about the moving body and especially the aesthetics of contemporary dance. He then worked with various dancers, both amateur and professional, whether in rehearsals, performances or in the studio.

He met Francesco Curci 5 years ago and very quickly Patrick realized that their reflections, their sensitivities, their imaginations were linked by the same vision of art and more broadly of the world. It didn’t take more for a faithful and deep friendship to be born between them. It is with immense happiness that he is offered by Francesco to join his team within the Amorphous Dance Company, and to carry out captures and photographs for him. This is what he does today with as much passion and wonder as ever in front of these creations that never cease to question human beings in their relationships…
