Our Story
Founded in May 2021 in Nice, the Amorphous Dance Company is a young contemporary dance company that explores the boundaries of bodily expression. Under the artistic direction of Francesco Curci and the presidency of Antony Demat, the company offers a unique choreographic language, blending animalistic physicality with great sensitivity. Each creation is an invitation to an inner journey, where movement becomes a vector for intense emotions.
Inspired by nature, contemporary art, and the human condition, the company addresses universal themes such as love, loss, and the search for meaning. The choreographies, often imbued with a dark and melancholic poetry, explore the limits of the body and the infinite possibilities of movement.
Since its creation, the Amorphous Dance Company has presented several notable works, including “Our Last Song,” a finalist in the international Premio Danza e Teatro competition. The company has also developed fruitful collaborations with artists from various backgrounds, enriching its artistic universe. The Amorphous Dance Company continues its exploration of forms and senses, with the ambition of reaching a wide audience and making dance a vehicle for sharing and emotion.
